Below is a brief summary of each board position and its responsibilities:

📌 Board Position Summaries

 

President

• Leads Board and general meetings

• Acts as the executive leader of the organization

• Oversees business affairs and ensures execution of board decisions

 

Vice President

• Supports the President and fills in when absent

• Takes on additional duties as assigned by the Board

 

Secretary / Co-Secretary (2 Year Commitment)

• Maintains official meeting minutes and records

• Handles organizational correspondence

• Prepares nomination slate for May elections

• Ensures the organization remains in good standing as a nonprofit

 

Treasurer / Co-Treasurer (2 Year Commitment)

• Manages all financial records and transactions

• Prepares financial reports and annual budget

• Oversees the Corporation’s bank account and financial integrity

• Serve as Co-Treasurer in year 1 and then as Treasurer in year 2

Public Relations Representative

• Manages the Booster Club email account and Social Media Account

• Handles organizational correspondence

• Promotes performances, events, and LNW performing arts in general

• Connects with local businesses for community support

 

Directors at Large

• Serve as liaisons for each performing arts group: Instrumental Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Theater

• Participate in committees and help with board initiatives
